Two KS3 students at the Ludlow Centre used the BBC micro:bit MakeCode editing environment to successfully create simple programs for their micro:bit systems. They were able to add button presses in order to display different emoji graphics on the micro:bit LED display. They tested their programming on the online version, before sending the hexadecimal file to their actual micro:bit to demonstrate their computing skills.
