Reaching Out With Arthog
Exploring Chirk Castle Grounds with the Arthog Outreach Team
Two KS3 students from the Oswestry Centre visited Chirk Castle grounds to explore the woodland paths around the castle. Activities included, climbing through the hollow roots of an old oak tree, following maps to locate their position on the grounds, using fire starter steel flint and striker survival tools to start a small camp fire, and using climbing rope and carabinier clip to create a rope swing.
