Two students from the Oswestry Centre went to the Minera Lead Mines near Wrexham, to explore the industrial heritage of the area. We walked around the site and explored the hill behind the site to locate the entrance to the mines. It was interesting to spot different features and try to work out their purpose when the mine was functioning.
